We recently celebrated our 20th Anniversary, and Symon turned Five.
The last five years have been difficult, after what I call The Crash, when we crashed our lives by moving to the Chicago area. These three blog posts have been sitting in draft form while I considered what to write. I think I have quite a bit to write, so I'm going to put in a bit of text and publish, then do more writing at a later date.
Before The Crash February 2011, when we visited my brother on our way to Chicago. Little did we know we would be back here by summer.
Post Memorial Day visit to my brother, on our way back to Chicago. This was when my brother suggested we move in with him until we could get back on our feet.

Symon was so little!
We were adjusting to Indiana, but it was better with a kitten.
My brother's sometime girlfriend, V., said to us once that she was surprised that after what happened to us, we were still so happy, and happy together.
We were in a bit of shock, plus caring for a kitten.
Look at that little Stinker pushing away from me.
Bigger just a few weeks later:
By October, we had moved into our apartment, and I started a job at IU.
It was/is Home, for now. Holiday photo 2011.
Into 2012, I took Symon out for Walkies twice a day. He always wanted to go out.
Sometimes Steve would take him out, too. Steve finally got on Day Shift.
Symon always has to get in the way of gaming.
Symon preferred the computer chair and Steve didn't want to disturb him.
Still happy. And happy together.
December of 2013 we got Symon his Tunnel, which he LOVES.
