I stumbled a bit with my December Project. It has changed into something else. I do like having a theme for the month. It's helping me get more done.
I'm not ready to write about the new project. Maybe when I am done I can better articulate what it's about, and decide how much to share. I will share the Art Journaling that I will work on through the end of December (hopefully finishing by the end of December). Here is just one drawing. I am trying to fill up my second Butterfly Journal.
I have been working on my figure proportions. I realized they are a little off, so I physically measured my body with a tape measure:
I put the measurements into an Excel spreadsheet, in different colors. This is as far as I got with this project. I need to start translating the measurements into sketches.
Update on the Suzi Blu Day of the Dead painting, although for me it's something else. I was calling it Letting Go. I now know what it is that I need to let go - the December Project 2. Will explain much later, when I am all done.
Update on the Suzi Blu Open Your Heart painting. I knew I would end up covering the boobies, but I still needed them for proportion and placement.
Symon in his box.
Symon being cute. It's difficult to capture when he pulls his paws over his face.
