November is going to be Artistic Closet Cleanout Month!
(Thank you to Steve for that awesome name.)
I have a lot of projects that have gotten stuck and I need to finish them. I need to clear out and recycle old notes and ideas - either make an art piece or toss it aside. I feel like I have a great deal of stuck energy and I need to get it flowing again. When I reached the end of the Putting Away Project, I needed several packets of Glue Dots to finish tacking down the Laurel Journaling Project pieces, but I didn't get around to it. It's been so long the masking tape holding the pieces in the Big Journal has gotten sticky.
It's time to clear everything out!
I really enjoyed the daily drawing for the October #Drawlloween project. I wanted to continue the drawing, but not get too obsessive about it. So last night's drawing was just a little face sketch on a J. piece. I drew while watching a t.v. show on my Kindle, but I need to stop doing that - my mind didn't have enough time to shut down and I didn't get a good night's sleep. Still working on that.
Look at this piece! I'm very pleased how it turned out. Two medallions for Steve's Deserts of Decay D&D role playing campaign. These are based on Pathfinder artwork - images of two goddesses Sarenrae (top medallion) and Desna (combo of images found on Google Images search - using my own Butterfly pattern shape).
After role playing on Saturday, we had time for a Star Wars Armada battle.
Still working on my big wall piece.
Suzi Blu Pilgrimage piece.
Suzi Blu Open Your Heart piece.
Wow, when did I start this? Right after Labor Day?
Time to get to work! On projects big and small.
