It snowed on Saturday. Again!
Symon does NOT approve of snow.
Find the Symon? (Answer at the bottom.)
Steve trying to get D&D work done:
I spent the weekend sorting stuff, and I took a short nap Saturday. It was hard for me to go to sleep before Steve's 10:00 pm break last week, so I was up much later than I am used to in the evenings.
My Moleskines arrived on Saturday! My first ones! The first order went missing. It disappeared in Louisville, KY and I thought it was due to the snow. Thursday evening I was scrolling thru Twitter and a Twitter friend made a joke about ordering more from Amazon to get boxes for the cats. Amazon Help Twitter replied to their Tweet. So, I replied and said something about my order going missing. Amazon Help replied and gave me a link - a link that I didn't find when I looked around online in my Amazon account. It gave me the option of declaring my first shipment missing and reordering. Which I did. It shipped on Friday, before the big snow, in-state (someplace north of Indy). I was shocked when our postal carrier placed the package inside our door Saturday afternoon.
Sunday sorting. Steve cleared the snow off the car. I went through my old notebook making notes of anything I still wanted to work on.
A sketch from last week that I forgot to post.
Sunday Symon Snoozing:
Monday I had another dentist appointment to install the permanent crown. And it was COLD - 3F degrees out. My toes were numb by the time I arrived at the dentist. Then, my tooth was hyper-sensitive! I've never had this happen before. When I had a crown come off back in 2011 the tooth underneath wasn't sensitive at all. I couldn't have them touch it. The dentist came in with the syringe to numb me and I just about jumped out of the chair. She said, "But I haven't touched you yet!" I said, "You touched the tooth!" She said, "Okay! Don't touch the tooth!"
After that the crown installation went smoothly. But I was woozy from the drugs. Again. So I went back home. I went out to catch the #3 bus, which thankfully arrived in just a few minutes. Both my fingers and my toes got numb, and I had to walk through snow to get to the bus stop and deep plowed snow/slush to get on the bus (the driver pulled over as close as she could get). I got off the bus downtown and ducked into that little mall to check the #6 schedule. I walked a few blocks to catch the #6. Steve was out running errands, so I got off the bus at the Post Office - had to walk up a snowy embankment - and Steve picked me up. So I went with him to Kroger for some shopping.
When we got home I changed into my PJs and crawled back into bed. Steve made me some decaf tea. I was so chilled it took me all afternoon to warm up. Symon napped with me again.
ANOTHER FIND THE SYMON! Answer at bottom of blog post.
And a really cute Bonus:
Later, Symon was 'creeping' in the hallway, as one of my Twitter friends calls it. I always laugh when she says her cats are 'creeping' - but it is kinda creepy with him just sitting there looking at me, like: What do you want, Symon?!
I tried to get to sleep early Monday, but it didn't really happen. I ended up with lights out about quarter till 10:00 so I texted Steve to call me at his 10:00 pm break. Last night (Tuesday night) I was exhausted. I had the lights out about quarter till 9:00. I slept better and feel better today.
Tuesday Morning Playtime:
Symon was a Vulture last night while I was having my dinner:
But when I went to bed he joined me, burrowing under the pink blanket:

FIND THE SYMON HINT REVEALED:
Here is the second Find the Symon answer, from Monday afternoon. I didn't draw on the pics with the Skitch app, but if you look on the right side of the pink blanket (1st pic) you can see his Tail Tip peeking out. In the bonus pic you can see his paw sticking out on the left side. He was, of course, underneath the pink blanket:
