I was looking for a little canvas stitching test I made, and I couldn't find it. I looked everywhere, in every stack, in every art drawer, container or tin. I knew it wasn't lost. So I didn't worry about it.
Yesterday, while sitting at my art table I happened to look up at the canvas hanging on the wall. And there it was. OH, right, I taped it up there.
The funniest thing I've said recently: "What was the name of that Titanic movie?"
I was explaining to Steve on the day I stayed home with my sinus infection that I had the TV on the Soundscapes music channel, but it played so much Irish-sounding music, it was like, like- that Titanic movie. What's it called? (Ha.)
In my defense I'd taken a sleeping pill the night before, for the antihistimine.
Here's Symon napping yesterday. Saturday Afternoon Snoozin'.
He kept chittering at me, and I kept snapping pics, trying to get one of the chittering.
Those two bright spots are sunlight coming through the blinds.
See his one black eyebrow whisker? He's got one black cheek whisker, too. And scattered black fur here and there. Remember that article on cats and genetics that said there's a gene that turns black fur orange? That must be it.
I think the chittering means, "Leave me alone, Mommy, I'm trying to sleep."
There we go!
P.S. I updated my Tumblr: http://klisaanne.tumblr.com/
I'm going to try to post different pics on my Tumblr - more artwork in progress, so I'm not posting the same stuff in every place online. Enjoy.
