Undergrad Blue
This was a project from Natalie, at Vanillery Garden, The Favorite Color Project. She asked us our favorite color and wanted creative names, with an illustration and a blog post.
I immediately thought of this dark blue I always used when I was an undergrad student. Some Phthalo Blue, some Payne's Gray, and some Titatium White. It can be darker or lighter - lighter makes it grayer.
I always just called it Undergrad Blue to myself, which is not a very creative name. I thought about calling it Melancholy Blue, or perhaps Oh, Shit! I F*cked Up My Life Blue. Maybe I Didn't Really Do Everything I Thought I Would By Now Blue would be more descriptive. I'll probably just stick with Undergrad Blue.
