When your life has turned to shit, besides a big brother to catch you when you fall, a kitten really makes a furry little difference.
We got him from a neighbor of my brother's. We hadn't gotten Kitten Chow or anything, but there was some rotisserie chicken in the fridge, so Steve fed him. He perched on Steve's shoulders and wouldn't get down. He was ready for solid food.
I had forgotten how much of a riot kittenses are. Symon does what we call his "Ninja Leap" - front paws out, flying through the air, the occasional Neo-Matrix soar through the air. He has a tendency to use us as chew toys, but he will also rush into our faces nudging and purring, giving us a Facefull of Kitten.
Our quality of life has definitely increased with this new addition to our family.
